Your guide will tell you if you are lucky enough that your guide gets tags. I can tell you have not done much raecsreh. Non-residents cannot hunt brownies in Alaska unless you are with a guide and use his tags. Expect 10k to 20k to hunt there. Its a supply and demand market and fees are high.BTW I doubt a 14yr old can go there alone and hire a Guide for 10-20k.

I am a long time Alaskan hunter, aperptr, and Certified Alaskan Hunter Safety Instructor.Non-Resident big game hunters require a certified guide. Brown Bear hunting for non-residents come in two types of hunts Drawing Permit and Registration. In a Registration Hunt you simply buy a $450 or so Brown Bear tag (who knows what it will cost in 2 years) and then you hire a certified guide to take you into the Registration area.In a Drawing Permit you buy an Alaskan Hunting License online in December and then pay $5 or $10 to put your name into a Lottery. You can choose 3 different areas. Once you win a Drawing Permit you will be given a list of guides certified to take hunters in that area. You book the guide and then go hunting. Drawing Permits are the way to go these areas only allow a few hunters per year. You are almost guaranteed a good bear unless the weather is against you or you blow the shot. You very much need to visit the official state of Alaska web site and download the Hunting Regulation, and the Drawing Permit suppliment. The Drawing Permit suppliment does not change much from year to year.Kodiak Island and Afognick (sp) Island have the biggest brown bears. Most are fly in or boat in trips. I lived on Kodiak for many years lots of big bears not too far from town. If you want to take a nice one for a Registration hunt you can enter Bear Valley' behind the US Coast Guard Communications Station. Just call or drive up and be nice they will let you drive up to the end of the road through the antenna field. Sure beats walking 1.5 miles. They got some huge bears back there. You can email me any questions.

Great – I should certainly pronounce, impressed with your web site. I had no trouble navigating through all the tabs as well as related info ended up being truly easy to do to access. I recently found what I hoped for before you know it at all. Reasonably unusual. Is likely to appreciate it for those who add forums or anything, web site theme . a tones way for your client to communicate. Nice task.

A lot of whatever you point out happens to be astonishingly accurate and that makes me ponder why I hadn't looked at this with this light previously. This article truly did switch the light on for me personally as far as this topic goes. Nevertheless there is actually one issue I am not really too cozy with so while I make an effort to reconcile that with the main theme of your issue, permit me observe what the rest of your readers have to say.Nicely done.
